Gutters are an important part of maintaining your roof – they stop water from soaking your exterior walls. Because of its positioning, the weather will inevitably cause wear and tear in your guttering so you need to assess it at least once a year. Have a look for cracks and bends – left unchecked these can cause roof damage. Downspouts carry water away from the roof gutter and usually have a joint at the end so water doesn’t pool around the foundation of your home and cause leaks or damp patches. If there is a blockage in this joint then the water will collect in the roof gutter – this can lead to rotting wood and eventually cause leaks in your roof, so keep your gutters clean and debris free.

How do I clear your guttering?

I use the very latest in gutter cleaning technology - using state of the art gutter and high level vacuum cleaning equipment allows me to clear your gutters from ground level without the need for expensive scaffolding or illegally working off a ladder. Any weeds, leaves and debris will be sucked out allowing any water to run freely. I can also check your downpipes and if blocked can unblock them for you.

Gutter Vac System

You will see weeds, twigs, pine needles and all manner of debris in or hanging out of the gutters. It was for these occasions that the Gutter Vac System was developed. You can quicly ease out stubborn weeds and lift out masses of pine needles and twigs. The combination of my poles, adjustable head and hose means that my 3000 watt vacuum is more than capable of removing moss, leaves, and mud found in gutters. But sometimes people leave it too long and the weeds grow into the union brackets and become very difficult to dislodge even with the powerful vacuum.

Why should you get your gutters cleaned?

I learnt from experience that if you don't clean your gutters regularly, at least every six months then water could overflow and cause extensive damage to bricks and mortar and could also be responsible for mould on the inside of the house as it gets into the brickwork. Gutter clearing has always been an essential maintenance requirement, but due to the danger of cleaning gutters from ladders and mechanical lifters has put the price of cleaning them out of reach. ~ Until now! Ladderless gutter cleaning as now changing this situation.

Safety first

It is not safe for you to work off a ladder for long periods of time. Every year thousands of accidents occur as people climb ladders to reach gutters etc. - it is not worth risking injury or even losing your life just to clean your gutters. The system I use allows me to work at ground level.
